Most of the work on this animal print shower curtain is done by the wash cycle, because a design this pale lives or dies on how clean it stays. The pattern is a dense field of wavering chalk-white stripes over warm sand, spaced the way a zebra's markings bend and taper, but rendered soft-edged and tonal instead of high contrast. From a few feet away it stops reading as a creature at all and behaves like a textured neutral, which is the point. There is no black anywhere in it and no hard edge on any stripe, so the panel never announces itself as a statement print.

It sits between the two on purpose. The stripes bend and taper the way animal markings do, but the tonal sand-on-chalk palette strips out the drama, so most people register texture first and the reference second. In a neutral bathroom it behaves as a plain.
The stripes run roughly vertically with a strong wave, which works with the folds rather than against them. When the panel gathers, the pattern compresses without looking broken. Hung flat it reads as a continuous ripple across the full width.
