This blue and orange shower curtain is styled like a mid-century travel poster: the word CUBA set in heavy orange capitals across the upper third, a sky graded from acid green into deep teal behind it, black palm silhouettes leaning in from the left and a turquoise lagoon washing across the lower half. The artwork is painted rather than photographed, with visible spray texture in the sky and a signature scrawled into the corner. Orange against turquoise is the loudest pairing in the catalog, and it depends entirely on both colors staying strong. There is no white anywhere on the panel to soften the two, which is why the whole thing reads as a block of color from the doorway.

It is the first thing anyone sees, so yes in a small bathroom. That is manageable if the walls stay white and no other strong color appears. In a larger room the turquoise takes over and the type settles down.
Painted, with visible spray and brush texture in the sky and hand-lettered type. There is even a signature worked into the lower corner. It reads as poster art rather than as a holiday snapshot.
It holds up better than a pale blue would, because the saturation gives it something to work with under artificial bulbs. Warm bulbs push it slightly green; cool white keeps it truer. Either way it stays the brightest surface in the room.
Black holds longest of any tone on the panel, so if anything the silhouettes become more dominant over time as the orange softens. Washing cool keeps the two in balance. Sunlight is what pulls them apart.
