The design behind these chic shower curtains runs in two layers: broad horizontal black and white bands across the whole panel, then a weathered rope anchor centred on top of them with garlands of blush and cream peonies looped through the shank. The stripe is wide enough to read from the doorway, while the flowers are painted at close range with visible petal edges and a few sage leaves, so the panel changes character depending on how far away you stand from it. The rope on the anchor is drawn strand by strand, which is what stops the centrepiece reading as a flat silhouette against the bands behind it.

Yes, the motif is centred on each panel regardless of width, which means the 35-inch stall version shows the anchor and the closest flowers but crops the outer edges of the garland. If you want the full spread of blooms on both sides of the shank, choose one of the wider cuts.
They are printed as straight horizontal bands. Once the panel gathers on the rod the folds break the line visually, which is normal for any horizontal stripe on fabric; pulled flat against a wall the bands run level.
The print is fixed into the polyester rather than dyed through, so the black does not migrate the way a piece-dyed woven stripe can. Washing cool and separately for the first cycle is still the sensible precaution, mostly to keep loose print dust off pale towels.
