What makes these elegant shower curtains convincing is the printing rather than the cloth: a white Carrara-style marble with grey veining runs the full panel, overlaid with a chevron lattice drawn in thin metallic gold lines that break the stone into angled facets. The polyester itself is smooth and matte, which matters, because a shiny fabric would put a sheen across the marble and give the effect away immediately. The chevrons are drawn at an angle rather than square to the panel, so the facets they create run diagonally and give the flat marble some direction.

Only if your tile is a cool white Carrara. Marble varies enormously, and a warm-toned or heavily veined stone will fight this print. Against plain white tile it is a safer and better-looking pairing.
No, it is deliberately matte. A gloss finish would put a highlight across the printed veining and destroy the stone effect, so the maker has used a flat woven face throughout.
