Description

Embossed Cube Relief Moulded Into Clear PEVA

This heavyweight clear shower curtain is a PEVA film rather than a woven cloth, and the whole surface is moulded with a three-dimensional cube relief that catches light in small facets. The film is thicker than a standard liner, so it hangs with real weight instead of drifting, and the relief gives it enough body to stand away from the enclosure. PEVA is chlorine-free, which is why it does not carry the sharp smell older plastic panels had. There is no tint anywhere in the film, so the colour of your tile shows through unchanged rather than being shifted the way a smoked or frosted panel does. The relief supplies all the privacy.

  • Sizes: 71 x 71 and 71 x 79 inches
  • Material: PEVA film, chlorine-free, heavyweight gauge
  • Colorway: clear, no tint
  • Surface: moulded three-dimensional cube relief
  • Header: 12 metal grommets, silver-tone
  • Included: 12 hooks supplied
  • Treatment: stain-resistant and mildew-resistant
  • Water behavior: fully waterproof film
  • Care: wipe clean, not machine washable

Light Through the Panel in a Windowless Enclosure

A clear panel is the only kind that lets an interior shower keep the room's light, and the cube relief scatters it so you get brightness without a plain view straight through. It belongs with our clear shower curtains, and where you want the same transparency broken up by a printed motif instead of a relief, the Clear Vinyl Shower Curtain takes that route. In a rented flat it is also the panel that hides the least and argues with nothing, which is often exactly what is wanted.

Questions, answered.

No, and do not try it. This is a PEVA film, and a machine cycle will crease and stretch it permanently. Wipe it down with a cloth instead. That is true of every plastic panel, regardless of what a care label suggests.

Shapes and colour show through, not detail. The cube relief refracts light in every direction, so someone outside the enclosure sees a silhouette rather than a clear view. It gives privacy while keeping the shower bright.

PEVA is the chlorine-free alternative to PVC and does not carry the sharp vinyl odour. Any faint packaging scent clears within a day if you hang it open on the rod rather than leaving it folded.

This is the heavier gauge, so it hangs straighter than a thin liner and resists billowing under a strong shower. In a narrow enclosure you may still want to tuck the lower edge inside the tub.
