Watercolor Fronds Held on a Matte Flat Weave
The weave does something specific to watercolor, and it is the reason the Leaf Print Shower Curtain looks painted rather than printed: a flat polyester with almost no sheen holds the washed greens and the soft bleeding edges matte, where a glossier fabric would give them a plastic shine. The leaves themselves are scattered rather than tiled, banana fronds, split monstera and fine palm at different angles, with a good deal of white left between them and a few pale eucalyptus rounds filling the gaps. Some fronds are painted in full and others fade out halfway, left unfinished at the tip, which is a watercolor habit rather than a printing fault and it gives the arrangement its rhythm across the width.

Loose Botanicals Against Pale Grout

It is a light, flat weave with a dry hand rather than a slippery one, and it drapes into narrow folds instead of standing away from the rod. That softness is part of why the watercolor reads convincingly.
No, they range from a pale sage on the eucalyptus rounds to a saturated deep green on the monstera, with olive in between. That range is what stops the scatter looking like a repeated stamp.
It darkens where water sits but stays opaque, because the weave is dense enough that light does not pass through it. Shapes are visible as shadows from the other side, nothing more.
