A timber cabin sits on the far bank, framed by pale birch trunks and conifers that have already turned rust and gold. Small birds cross a sky graded from warm amber near the water up to a dusty blue. The panel reads like a canvas rather than a photograph, with visible brush texture in the ripples and in the leaf litter along the shoreline.
