Four Widths of a Hard-Edged Block Composition
Geometric panels behave differently at different widths, and the red white and gray shower curtain is cut four ways for that reason. The design is a grid of rectangles divided by heavy black rules: large white and pale grey fields, a few charcoal blocks, and three or four saturated red panels placed to pull the eye across the composition. On the 35-inch stall cut you get a handful of blocks and it reads as a bold stripe. At 71 inches the full grid appears and the balance the design was drawn for comes back. Proportion is the whole idea here: the rectangles are all different sizes and none of them is square, so the eye keeps moving rather than settling, and the red fields are the smallest areas on the panel despite being the first thing anyone sees.

Crisp. The rules are printed with hard boundaries and no feathering, which is what makes the design work at this scale. Any softness you see is from the weave of the cloth rather than the print, and it is only visible within a foot or so.
White, by a clear margin, followed by the pale grey. Charcoal appears in only two or three fields and the red in three or four small ones. That distribution is why a panel with red in the name still reads as predominantly light from across a bathroom.
No. It is a single composition across the whole face rather than a tiled repeat, so no two areas of the curtain look alike. That is also why the narrower cuts change the design so much rather than simply showing less of it.
