Description

A Pebbled Ivory Weave With No Print At All

There is no artwork on these 84 inch length shower curtains, only fabric: a warm ivory polyester embossed with an irregular pebble relief, closer to hammered glass than to a waffle grid. The texture is what catches the light, throwing soft shadows that shift as the panel moves, and because the relief is molded into the cloth rather than printed on it, there is nothing to fade. It hangs with real weight, in heavy vertical folds that hold their shape between showers. Nothing about it is trying to be a feature, which is exactly why it survives a change of towels, tiles or taste.

  • Twelve cuts, from 47 x 71 up to 94 x 79 inches (width x height)
  • Material: woven polyester with embossed pebble relief
  • Color: warm ivory, undyed appearance, no print
  • Header: 12 metal grommets in silver tone
  • Included: 12 hooks
  • Treatment: water-repellent, stain-resistant, mildew-resistant
  • Care: machine wash at 86°F

Wide Cuts for Openings a Standard Panel Misses

The reason to hunt down this one is the width range: the 87 and 94-inch cuts cover a corner enclosure or a double opening that a normal panel leaves gaping at one end. Ivory keeps a large expanse of fabric from turning into a wall, and the relief gives that much cloth something to do besides hang there. It anchors our extra wide shower curtains, and if you want the same plain treatment in a true white rather than a cream, the White Bathroom Shower Curtains panel is the direct equivalent.

Questions, answered.

The relief is embossed through the cloth, so you can feel it from either side, though it reads more strongly on the front. That makes it a sensible choice where both faces are visible, such as a freestanding tub in the middle of a room. Neither side looks like the wrong one.

It is warmer than white and will read as cream against a bright white surround, which is generally what people want from it. Beside off-white or limestone tile the difference disappears. If your room is all cool white and chrome, a true white panel is the safer match.

Twelve is what is fitted and twelve is enough, because the grommets are spaced further apart on the wide panels rather than added to. The fabric has the body to span those gaps without sagging between rings. A wider rail is the thing to check, not the ring count.

The relief is shallow and rounded rather than deeply cut, so water sheets off it instead of sitting in the pattern. Any film that does build up lifts in a normal wash. It is the folds, not the texture, that hold moisture if you leave the panel bunched.
