A Backlit Maple in Full Turn

This autumn shower curtain is a single landscape image: a broad maple in full colour, its canopy shading from gold through amber to deep burgundy, with low sun burning through the branches and fallen leaves scattered across the foreground. Small glints of light sit in the undergrowth. The whole scene is warm enough that hanging it changes the apparent temperature of a bathroom in the way a paint colour would. The photograph is high resolution enough that individual leaves stay separate rather than blurring into a wash of orange at close range.

A Seasonal Swap That Warms a Cold Room
