Anything hung in a shower has to survive a wash cycle, and this beach themed shower curtain is printed on woven polyester that takes an 86-degree machine wash without the image softening. The scene is three wooden longtail boats beached at low tide, prows toward you, coloured ribbons on the bowsprits and a hazy blue-green bay behind them. Sand fills the bottom quarter of the panel, which keeps the busy part of the image at eye level and above. The colour has been pulled back rather than boosted, so the greens are dusty and the sky is closer to grey-blue than to postcard blue. It looks like an evening photograph, not a brochure.

You have 30 days from delivery to return your item — no explanation needed. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned complete in their original packaging.

It is a photographic print at full panel width, so from a normal standing distance the ribbons and the grain of the hulls are legible. Very close up, as with any large-format print on woven fabric, the weave softens fine detail slightly.
Then this design is not the right fit. Two panels of 71 inches on one rod will overlap awkwardly because the scene is centered. A wider alcove is better served by a print made in an extra-wide cut.
Hard water can leave a faint pale ring on light areas as it dries. It wipes off with a damp cloth and comes out completely in the wash. Darker prints hide this better, which is the trade for having a light hem.
