The color pairing on this beige and white shower curtain is warmer than the name suggests: the darker bands are a soft mushroom taupe with a grey undertone rather than a yellow one, and they alternate with a chalky off-white in stripes wide enough that only five or six of them cross the panel. Broad banding of that kind behaves differently from a fine stripe, holding its rhythm even when the fabric gathers into deep folds. The two tones sit close enough in value that the effect stays calm rather than graphic. Seen from the doorway it registers as texture; from a step away the banding becomes clear.

Across, in broad horizontal bands. Horizontal banding widens the look of a narrow shower opening, which is a useful trick in a cramped room. It also means the pattern stays readable when the panel is pushed to one end of the rail.
Rarely, and it is not worth chasing. The bands are wide enough that the rim will cut through one rather than land on a join, whatever the rail height. Because the two tones are close in value, a band crossing the rim reads as a soft change rather than as a misalignment.
Five or six wide bands cross the panel, depending on how it is hung and gathered. That low count is what separates it from a busy cabana stripe. The scale is closer to a blanket than to a shirt.
Cream, slightly. Beside a true white bath it is clearly the softer tone, which is intentional in a design built on warm neutrals. If your sanitaryware is a bright modern white, that contrast is visible but not jarring.
