No. Every cut carries twelve grommets regardless of width, so the twelve hooks in the pack are correct for all of them. On the 79-inch widths the spacing is simply a little wider.
It will if you size up too far. That is why the two-inch clearance matters more on the 87 and 94-inch cuts, where the extra fabric has nowhere to go if the rod is lower than you measured.
