Hang the bird tree shower curtain in a bathroom that gets used by children and it does most of the decorating on its own: a row of round-bodied owls perched along a brown branch across the upper third, tulips and daisies on tall stems below them, and a picket fence running the full width in alternating pink, green, orange and blue. Outlined clouds float in the white sky between the birds. Every element is drawn with a heavy dark outline and flat color inside it, the way a picture book is, and no two owls share a color scheme. Counting them, and arguing about which is best, is a large part of what the panel is for.

It is aimed squarely at the picture-book years rather than at teenagers, so expect it to serve a good few of them and then be replaced. Nothing on it is licensed or tied to a character, which slows the ageing considerably. The owls read as decorative long after the fence stops being interesting.
Yes, and slightly warmer. The flat blocks of color have no shading, so they hold their intensity on fabric better than a photographic print does. Under a cool white bulb the pinks lose a little of their warmth.
It is treated against staining and washes at 86°F, which handles the usual family bathroom marks. The dark outlines around every motif also do a lot of quiet work, keeping small marks from standing out. Regular washing rather than spot cleaning is what keeps it fresh.
