The black and yellow shower curtain is a silhouette scene: a huge amber moon fills most of the panel, and against it a bare crooked tree holds hanging jack-o'-lanterns while bats cross the sky and small eyes glow in the grass below. Everything except the moon is solid black, so the design is really two colours doing all the work, and the contrast is strong enough to read from outside the room. The moon is a flat disc of colour with no shading in it, so the branches and bats cut into it cleanly and the whole panel behaves like a paper cut.

It is a deep amber, closer to marigold than to lemon, which is what stops it looking like a printed sun. Under warm bulbs it reads warmer still.
