An Empty Shoreline at Full Midday Light
This blue and beige shower curtain is a single photograph of a shoreline with nobody in it: turquoise water shading to deep blue at the horizon, a band of foam running across the middle, and warm pale sand filling the lower third. Above, a tall sky carries stacked white cloud. There are no boats, palms or lettering, which is what keeps it from tipping into holiday-souvenir territory. The horizon sits high on the panel, so the sand gets as much room as the water. The light in the photograph is full midday sun, which is what gives the shallows their glassy turquoise rather than a flat blue.

High, at roughly two thirds up the panel, which puts the sea at chest height and the sky above your eye line on a standard rod. That framing is what makes a small room feel taller.
There is real grain in it. The photograph was taken in full midday light, so the wet sand near the foam line is darker and slightly reflective while the dry sand above it shows a fine speckle. That difference between the two bands is what keeps the lower third from looking like a printed beige stripe.
The cloud and foam detail holds at full size, with the softest area being the far horizon, which is naturally hazy in the original photograph rather than pixelated in the print.
