Night is the whole subject of the blue and purple shower curtain: a suspension bridge strung with lights crosses the left of the panel, a lit skyline sits behind it, and the water underneath doubles all of it in broken reflections. The sky grades from deep violet at the top to a warmer blue near the horizon, and the only warm notes are the amber windows and the sodium glow on the bridge deck. The reflection occupies the bottom third and is broken into horizontal streaks, so the lower half of the panel is softer than the sharp skyline above it.
