Pale prints need a fabric that comes clean, and this blue fabric shower curtain washes at 86 degrees without the delicate areas going grey. The image sits in the upper half: blue and white irises with sprays of baby's breath, a small yellow butterfly in flight and a bright blue one below it, all reflected in a sheet of still water that fills the lower third. Below the flowers the panel is almost empty, which is where the reflection does the work. The composition leaves the lower quarter almost empty, so the panel does not feel heavy despite the amount of botanical detail packed into the top.

It is printed. The lower third shows the flowers mirrored in water, on the same face as the rest of the image. The reverse of the panel is plain, as with any single-sided printed curtain.
Bright white behind the flowers, softening to pale blue-grey in the reflected water. It is one of the lighter panels in the range, which is worth knowing if your bathroom stays damp for long stretches.
Yellow is generally the least stable pigment under strong light, so in a bathroom with a sunny window it will soften first. Away from direct sun and washed cool, all the colours hold together for years.
