Description
One Island, Two Waterlines, Four Panel Widths
Choosing between these coastal shower curtains comes down to how much of the scene you want, because the image is split by a waterline that sits roughly two thirds up the panel. Above it: a small palm-covered island, open sky, a band of cloud. Below it: the reef shelf, coral heads and shoals of small fish rendered in the same turquoise. On the 35-inch stall cut the island fills the frame; on the 71-inch cuts you get the open water either side of it. Neither half of the image is treated as a background; the reef is photographed at the same level of detail as the island above it.

Turquoise Against White Tile and Pale Wood
The blues here are bright rather than muted, which makes them a better match for white gloss tile, chrome and pale ash than for a room already full of beige stone. Hang the waterline at eye level and the panel reads as a window; hang it low on a short rod and the reef takes over. It sits in our coastal shower curtains collection, and for the same water in close-up rather than landscape, the Ocean Life Shower Curtain puts the reef right at the surface. Sizing generously matters more than usual with a split composition, since a panel pulled tight distorts the waterline into a curve and the illusion of a window goes with it.

Questions, answered.
It sits roughly two thirds of the way up, so the reef occupies the lower third and the island and sky the rest. On a standard tub rod that puts the underwater section at around hip height, which is where most people want the busier part of the picture.
The reef is the most detailed part of the image and holds up at close range: individual coral heads and small shoals are distinguishable. It softens once the panel gathers, which is why a slightly wider cut than your opening keeps the detail legible.
The upper third is a large area of even colour, and any flat expanse shows dried droplets more readily than a busy pattern does. It sits above the splash zone in most tub setups, so in practice this only comes up in a walk-in shower where water reaches higher.
