A French Bulldog Photographed Against Mustard
The Dark Yellow Shower Curtain is a straight head-on portrait: a fawn French bulldog with dark ears and a wrinkled muzzle, photographed close and set against a flat mustard-yellow ground with no other detail. The yellow is deep rather than bright, closer to ochre than lemon, and it picks up the fawn of the coat so the animal sits in the colour rather than in front of it. Everything else has been stripped out, which is what makes a single face carry a full panel.

Muted and deep, closer to mustard or ochre than to a primary yellow. Under warm light it reads almost golden; under a cool fixture it flattens slightly towards olive-yellow.
Sharp enough to show individual whiskers and the fold detail around the muzzle. Standing right against it you see the weave, which softens edges very slightly, but at normal viewing distance it reads as a photograph.
More than a busy print, yes, because there is no pattern to break up the fold line. Hanging it straight out of a wash drops the creases within a few hours in a steamy room.
