Looking after this dusty rose shower curtain is mostly about protecting the weave, because the interest here is structural rather than printed: a fine waffle grid built into the cloth itself, small square cells that catch the light and give a plain pink panel the depth a flat fabric never has. The surface has a slight silky handle over that relief, and the color is a soft powder rose with no red in it, closer to a faded terracotta than to a sweet pink. Because the texture is woven rather than embossed with heat, it will not press out over time. The lower edge is shaped and weighted so the panel keeps an even fall, and the whole thing is treated to shed water rather than absorb it.

Woven, which means the cells are part of the cloth structure rather than a heat-set impression. Pressed textures relax after a few washes; a woven one does not. You can feel the grid clearly from either side.
Clearly pink but heavily muted, closer to a faded clay than to blush. Beside bright white sanitaryware the warmth reads immediately. In a room of beige and stone tones it almost disappears into the scheme.
Marginally, because the raised cells hold a little more water than a flat weave. The water-repellent finish means most of it runs straight off rather than soaking in. Spreading the panel out rather than bunching it makes far more difference than the texture does.
The waffle relief means only the raised cells make contact, so it touches skin far less than a smooth film would. The finish sheds water instead of holding it at the surface. That combination is the practical argument for a textured cloth panel.
