Two Whitetail Deer Standing in Late-Season Timber
The Forest Shower Curtain is a photograph rather than an illustration: a buck in full antler with a doe close behind him, both standing among grey trunks with rust and yellow leaves caught in the branches and a shallow run of water crossing the foreground. There is almost no green in it. The whole image sits in brown, bark grey and dull gold, which places it firmly in late season and keeps it from reading as a bright outdoor poster. Both animals are turned toward the camera and look straight out of the panel, and that direct gaze is what gives an otherwise quiet scene its hold on the room.

Photographed, and the giveaway is the coat: you can see individual hairs along the buck's shoulder and the wet dark line where his legs meet the water. A painted version would smooth both of those out.
Almost none. A little moss tone appears low on the trunks, but the scene is built from brown, grey and rust, so match it to warm neutrals rather than to a green bathroom.
