Nothing is printed on this gray waffle shower curtain: the pattern is structural, a fine waffle grid woven into the cloth so the surface catches light in small squares and the colour stays a single flat mid-grey throughout. The hand is silky rather than crisp, and the maker has shaped and weighted the bottom edge so the panel falls in even vertical columns instead of curling in at the hem. It is an Oeko-Tex certified polyester with a water-repellent face. Because the pattern is in the structure rather than on the surface, it changes with the light through the day instead of staying fixed the way a print does.

Woven. The grid is part of the cloth structure rather than pressed into a flat fabric, which is why it survives washing without flattening. An embossed finish would lose its definition within a few cycles.
Not quite. The waffle cells are much finer than on a waffle towel and the yarn is smooth, so the hand is silky rather than absorbent. It does not hold water the way a cotton waffle does.
A neutral mid-grey with very little cast either way, which is deliberate on a plain panel. It sits acceptably beside both white and cream, and against a strongly coloured tile it will take on a little of that colour.
The maker leaves the choice of ring finish to you rather than supplying a generic plastic set. Any standard hook or ring fits the header, so match them to your taps or your rail.
