The texture in this gray textured shower curtain comes from the drawing rather than the cloth: narrow white chevrons run in continuous vertical columns across a mid-grey ground, close enough together that from the doorway the panel reads as a woven herringbone. Step up to it and the illusion resolves into printed line work on a smooth polyester face. The grey underneath is neutral, neither warm nor blue, and the white lines stay crisp instead of blurring into it. The scale is small, roughly a finger's width between the peaks of each zigzag, which is what makes the printed texture convincing rather than obviously graphic.

No, and it is worth being clear about it: the fabric is a smooth woven polyester and the herringbone effect is printed. From a normal viewing distance it convinces completely, but you will not feel any relief under your hand.
Neutral, which is unusual. Most grey panels pull either blue or brown once they are up; this one holds close to a true mid grey, so it does not fight warm brass or cool chrome fittings.
Gathering compresses the columns rather than tilting them, so they stay vertical. The effect is that the herringbone looks denser in the folds and more open on the flat sections, which reads as shading rather than as an error.
One of the 79-inch cuts. A freestanding tub usually needs the panel to travel further around the curve than a standard alcove does, and the 79 x 79 inch version gives both that width and the extra drop a ceiling-fixed rail needs.
