Deep Magenta Lit From Behind, With Roses and Glassware
The Magenta Shower Curtain does not use its colour flat: the ground is a deep pink that glows brightest at the centre and falls away to near-black at the corners, as though lit from behind, and across the lower third it breaks into a scatter of fine glitter particles that catch as a band of pale sparkle. Sitting on that ground are two open red roses, a pair of filled champagne flutes and a dark bottle at the right edge. The pink is a true magenta with blue in it rather than a warm coral, which is what keeps the red of the roses distinct from the background instead of merging into it.

Printed. It is a photographic effect within the image rather than applied particles, so nothing sheds into the tub and the panel washes like any other printed cloth.
Blue. It is a blue-based magenta rather than a coral or salmon, which is why it sits so hard against warm terracotta tones and so easily against white and grey.
Yes, deliberately. The light falls off toward the corners so that the centre of the image glows, and in a dim bathroom the outer thirds will read as almost black.
