Chalky Blush With White Leaf Forms Cut Out of It

The Modern Organic Shower Curtain works on one colour relationship and very little else: a chalky blush pink covering most of the panel, with a large white leafing branch drawn across the centre in flat cut-out shapes, and two soft white curves clipping the upper left and lower right corners. The pink is muted and dusty rather than sweet, close to unglazed clay in tone, which is what keeps a pink curtain from reading as a nursery. Every shape is solid white with no outline, no shading and no second colour anywhere. That flatness is what carries it: the leaves work as silhouettes, so the design stays legible from the doorway and gives up nothing when the panel is seen from a few feet away in poor light.
