A Watercolour Bulldog Across Five Different Widths
The Multi Colored Fabric Shower Curtains reproduce a loose watercolour portrait of a French bulldog, and the reason to think about size first is that the dog is a fixed image rather than a repeat, so each of the five cuts frames it differently. The painting itself is all wet-on-wet bleeds: magenta, turquoise, lemon and orange running into one another across the muzzle and ears, with flicked spatter around the edges and only the eyes and nose worked in solid dark. The white ground is left completely bare.

Partly. On the 35-inch width the ears and some of the paint spatter run off the edges, though the face itself stays whole. From 59 inches upward the image is complete with white space around it.
A little above centre, so it is close to eye level for an adult standing in the room. That placement also keeps the muzzle clear of the tub rim where a hem gets splashed.
It is deliberate. Flicked droplets of colour around the head are a standard watercolour device and they are reproduced faithfully, including a few that sit well away from the figure.
