A Sky Graded From Deep Blue Into Molten Amber
Colour is doing all the work on this ocean print shower curtain. The upper half is a saturated blue that lightens as it falls, turning through teal into a band of gold and finally into a burning amber where the sun sits just above the horizon. Below that, the sea picks up the same amber in broken reflections and breaks white against dark rocks in the foreground. The whole panel is essentially a vertical gradient with a coastline drawn into the bottom third. The rocks themselves are almost silhouetted, dark enough that they read as shape rather than detail, which keeps the eye on the sky where the colour is doing the work.

Warm Light for a Bathroom Without a Window
The amber band sits at roughly eye height when the panel is hung, which is why the room feels warmer with it up even under a cold LED. Amber, leaning gold rather than red. The hottest part of the sky sits just above the water and it is closer to the colour of a strong tea than to a scarlet sunset. Under warm bulbs it pushes further toward orange.
Yes, and that is worth knowing when you hang it. A rod that is even slightly off level makes the sea look tilted, which is far more obvious here than on a print without a horizon. Check the rod with a level before you hang it.
The top third goes almost navy under low light and loses some of its depth. The amber band keeps its brightness regardless, so the panel still reads as a sunset rather than going flat. A warm bulb helps considerably.
