What it has is a photographic print of scattered highlights, dense along the lower third and thinning as it rises, over a soft rose-to-oyster gradient, so the shimmer is an image of light rather than a surface you can feel. Run a hand over it and the fabric is smooth woven polyester throughout. That distinction matters, because a printed haze survives washing where an applied finish would shed.
