Most of them are a raspberry pink, with a few deeper crimson ones mixed in and one drawn as gingham. So the panel reads warmer and softer than a true fire-engine red. It sits closer to the pig than to a valentine.
The pig sits in the lower half of the panel, roughly at standing height for a toddler in a bath. That is deliberate on this design. Older children see it at chest level.
It does, provided the panel is spread out to dry rather than pushed to one end of the rod. Trapped damp folds are what cause grey marks on a white ground. The mildew-resistant treatment handles the rest.
