A Route 66 Poster With a Chrome-Heavy Roadster
Retro Print Shower Curtain belongs in the kind of bathroom that already has something on the walls: the design reproduces a mid-century travel poster, Welcome to California in hand-lettered script across the top, a Route 66 shield beside it, and a two-tone roadster with heavy chrome parked on sand with two surfboards standing behind it. The ground is aged cream and the palette runs mustard, seafoam and faded red. Even the paper texture is reproduced, complete with a slight tonal blotch across the sky. A thin white keyline runs around the whole image, exactly as a printed poster would carry, and the corners are very slightly softened as though the paper had been handled.

Yes, the hand-lettered heading and the route shield are both crisp at every width, and the smaller line of type beneath them is legible from a couple of feet.
Deliberately. The print includes the tonal blotching and slight discoloration of an aged poster, which is why it reads as a reproduction rather than as a flat graphic.
Cream, with mustard and seafoam in the middle band and faded red in the shield. It is warm overall rather than bright, and it will not add a strong color to a room.
