The animal printed on the panel is a black bear, dark-coated and crossing snow, despite the supplier listing describing it as brown. We have described what the photograph actually shows. The rest of the scene, the cabin and the winter forest, matches the listing.
It is a dark panel, and in a windowless room it will absorb light rather than bounce it. That works if the tile and the fittings around it are pale. In a room that is already dark it will close the space in.
They read as small warm points against the blue-black trees, which is what gives the scene its depth. On a folded panel they can fall inside a pleat. Drawing the curtain flat brings them back into view.
