Does the mermaid sit centered on every width?

The illustration is printed to fill the panel, so on the 35-inch cut you see the figure close-up while the surrounding sand and fish are cropped in. On the 71-inch widths the whole scene reads at once. Hooks are spaced evenly, so the drape falls the same way at any width.

Is the beige ground printed or is the fabric itself sand-colored?

It is printed. The base cloth is white woven polyester and the aged sand tone is part of the artwork, which is why it carries the same faint mottling as the bubbles and fish.

Will this narrow width still keep water off the floor?

Yes, provided the panel spans the opening of your stall with a little overlap at each side. Measure the rail rather than the tray, and hang the hem inside the enclosure.
