Description

One Yellow Row in a Grey Chevron Field

The design of this yellow and gray shower curtain rests on a single decision: a field of grey and white chevrons runs the full height of the panel, and one row near the top is switched to a clear buttercup yellow. That one band is the whole composition. Without it the panel would be an ordinary zigzag; with it, the eye goes straight to the top of the curtain and the room reads as though it has an accent colour in it. The chevrons themselves are printed at a medium scale, wide enough to stay legible when the panel gathers into folds. Grey and white alternate in equal weight below that row, so the field stays balanced rather than reading as grey with white lines through it.

  • One size: 71 x 71 inches
  • Woven polyester, water-resistant face
  • Grey and white chevron with one yellow row
  • Medium-scale zigzag repeat
  • 12 silver-tone metal grommets
  • Reinforced header band along the top
  • 12 reinforced hooks included
  • Anti-stain and anti-mildew treatment
  • Machine wash at 86°F
  • One panel per pack
  • Yellow row set in the upper third

A Single Accent Row Over Wood and White

It suits a bathroom with a wooden stool or a warm floor, where the yellow row picks up the timber and the grey keeps the rest calm. It is filed under our yellow shower curtains, and if you would rather the warm colour spread across the whole panel instead of one band the Black and Gray Shower Curtain does that. Grey chevron also hides splashes better than a plain pale panel. In a shared or family bathroom that combination of a busy mid-tone field and one bright row is unusually forgiving day to day.

Questions, answered.

One, positioned in the upper third of the panel. Everything above and below it is grey and white. That single band is what separates this design from a plain chevron print.

The repeat is at a medium scale specifically so it survives folding. A very fine chevron turns into visual noise as soon as the cloth gathers, which is why this one is drawn larger. Pulling the hem straight after a shower keeps the rows level.

Physically yes, since the grommets are the same at both ends, but it is not how the panel is drawn. The row sits in the upper third so the eye is pulled up and the accent stays clear of the tub rim. Inverted, the yellow disappears behind the bath and what is left reads as a plain chevron.
