This 84 inch long fabric shower curtain is built around a single image: a black eastern dragon, drawn in brush-and-ink style, coiling from the lower left corner up toward the header. The ground is a mottled parchment beige that shades darker at the edges, so the creature looks printed on old paper rather than dropped onto a white sheet. Claws, spines and whiskers are rendered fine enough to hold up at arm's length. The composition leaves the upper right corner nearly empty, which stops a large panel of black from feeling oppressive in a small room.

One Bold Panel in an Otherwise Plain Room

No, it is deliberately offset. The body enters at the lower left and coils up and to the right, which means the composition looks best on a panel hung flat and closed rather than bunched to one side.
It is printed to imitate aged paper, so it carries subtle blotching and darker edges. That mottling hides the water spotting that a flat cream panel would show after a few weeks.
The design is dye-printed into the weave rather than laid on as a surface film, so folding does not crack it. The usual creases from packaging fall out within a day of hanging.
