A Zebra Repainted in Full Spectrum Stripes

The animal shower curtain puts one life-size zebra dead centre on a graded teal-to-grey background, with every stripe filled in a different colour so the stripes turn into a spectrum instead of black and white. Its reflection sits in the shallow water below, which gives the lower third of the panel something to do. It is a single-image print, edge to edge, with no border and no repeat. At the base the animal is doubled in a shallow film of water, which gives the lower third of the panel a horizon and stops the figure floating.

Does the zebra fill the whole panel at every width?

No. The image is scaled to the cut, so a 35-inch stall panel shows the animal cropped at the flanks while the 71-inch widths show it whole with room around it. Choose the width by how much of the animal you want.

Is the background grey or blue?

It grades between the two. The top is a dark teal that lightens toward the middle and turns storm grey near the base, which is what stops the stripes looking neon.

Does a print this bright suit a small bathroom?

It can, because the ground is muted. In a small room hang it on the long wall and keep everything else plain, otherwise the stripes have to compete with tile and towels for attention.
