Description

Weathered Plank Grain Printed Edge to Edge

The Antique Shower Curtain prints a photographic wall of weathered timber: wide vertical planks in walnut and driftwood brown, with visible knots, split grain and patches where the surface has worn back to bare wood. There is no motif on top of it. The grain itself is the design, which is why it functions more like a wall finish than a picture. The planks run vertically and the photograph is scaled so the boards stay roughly the width of real timber, which is why the illusion survives at full panel height.

  • Sizes: 35 x 71, 35 x 79, 47 x 71, 55 x 79, 59 x 71, 71 x 71, 71 x 79 and 71 x 94 inches
  • Material: woven polyester fabric
  • Header: 12 silver-tone metal grommets
  • Included: 12 hooks supplied with the panel
  • Treatment: water-repellent, stain-resistant and mildew-resistant
  • Care: machine wash at 86 F
  • Water resistance: repels water and dries quickly after use
  • Print: photographic plank grain, vertical orientation

Building a Farmhouse Bathroom Around It

Wood grain gives a tiled bathroom the warmth that paint alone cannot, and this one leans rustic rather than mid-century, so it pairs with black hardware, a jute mat and open shelving in raw pine. Because the print is directional, keep the rod level or the planks read crooked. With eight cuts in the range this is also one of the few designs that will fit an unusual opening without compromise, from a narrow corner stall to a rail near the ceiling. It belongs with our farmhouse shower curtains, and if you want the same aged feeling stripped back to line drawing, the Vintage Black and White Shower Curtain takes that route.

Questions, answered.

Not exactly. Each panel carries the full artwork, so two hung together repeat the same plank sequence rather than continuing it. On a wide opening, one 71 x 94 panel reads better than two narrow ones.

No. The surface is smooth woven polyester and the grain is entirely photographic. It looks convincingly three-dimensional from a few feet away but is flat to the touch.

The 71 x 94. That is nearly eight feet of drop and is the only cut here made for a high rod; the 71 x 79 will leave a noticeable gap in a room with tall ceilings.

Yes, and it is one of the better pairings. The planks carry cool driftwood tones alongside the walnut, so they bridge grey tile rather than clashing with it.
