A Painted Flamingo Standing in Shallow Aqua Water

Four widths make up these aqua coastal shower curtains, and the artwork is scaled so the bird stays whole on every one of them: a flamingo painted in loose brushstrokes, one leg tucked, standing in a band of turquoise water with palm fronds crossing the corners and a pale washed sky behind. The paint is left visibly worked, with brush drag through the water and unblended pink in the plumage, so it reads as a canvas rather than a photograph. Aqua carries the lower half, pink the middle, and the top third stays almost empty. That deliberate imbalance keeps the panel from feeling like wallpaper and gives the bird somewhere to stand.

Is the flamingo painted or a photograph of one?

Painted, and visibly so. You can see individual brushstrokes in the water and areas of unblended pink across the body, which is what gives it a softer look than a wildlife photograph would have. Nothing about it aims for realism.

Does the turquoise read green or blue in a real bathroom?

It leans blue-green and shifts with the bulb: warm lighting pushes it towards teal, daylight brings out more blue. Against white tile it holds its brightness well. Beside grey tile it can look slightly greener than expected.

What towel color works without clashing?

Plain white is the safe answer and coral is the interesting one, picking up the plumage rather than fighting it. Avoid navy, which drags the panel towards a nautical scheme it is not really part of. A natural jute mat does more than any patterned textile.
