The image on this bamboo forest shower curtain is photographic rather than illustrated: a stand of green stalks running the full height of the panel, sharply focused in the foreground and softening into haze further back, with sunlight breaking between the canes and catching the leaves. Because the stalks are vertical and roughly the same width as the folds, the pattern survives being gathered on the rail better than a horizontal image would. The greens run from acid-bright at the leaf tips to deep forest in the shade behind. Nothing in the frame is man-made, and there is no border, so the grove appears to continue past the edges of the fabric.

No. It is a woven polyester panel carrying a bamboo print, and the plant appears only as an image. Genuine plant fibre would not behave well in a wet room, which is why a printed polyester is the right material for the job.
At normal viewing distance it is crisp, with individual leaves and cane joints clearly resolved. Press your nose to it and you will see the weave, as you would with any printed textile. The blurred background is intentional depth of field, not a resolution limit.
Not usually, because the range in the image runs from yellow-green to near-black and cool grey tile sits underneath all of it comfortably. What does clash is a second green in a different temperature, such as a mint towel. Keep the other textiles white or stone-colored.
The canes run vertically from hem to header on every cut, so the composition reads the same whichever size you choose. There is no obvious top or bottom to the grove itself. That is what lets the narrower widths work without looking cropped.
