Very few prints are made in seven sizes, and this black and gray shower curtain is one of them, running from 39 inches wide up to 79 x 79 for the kind of oversized enclosure most panels simply do not cover. The design is a fine mosaic: small squares in charcoal, mid-grey, silver and white, scattered so no single tone forms a stripe. Because the units are small, the pattern holds together at every width rather than stretching into blocks. There is no gradient and no shading, just flat tiles at slightly varied tones, which is what lets the print survive being stretched across a 79-inch width.

Which width covers a 70-inch tub properly?

Take the 79-inch panel rather than the 71. A curtain the same width as the opening hangs flat with no fullness and pulls away at the ends, whereas the extra eight inches lets it gather slightly and stay closed.

Does the small pattern look busy in a tiny bathroom?

It reads as texture rather than pattern from more than a few feet away, so it behaves like a mid-grey solid in a small room. Up close the individual squares become visible. That combination is why it works where a large graphic would overwhelm.

Are the greys warm or cool?

Cool and slightly blue rather than taupe. They sit correctly with white sanitaryware, chrome and grey porcelain tile, and they will look off next to cream or beige. Check your tile grout before committing.

Will the 79-inch drop work on a normal rod?

It will trail on the floor by several inches. Buy the 79-inch drop only for a rod mounted high or a ceiling track. For a standard 72-inch installation the 71-inch drop is correct.
