What separates this black white and beige shower curtain from the usual monochrome dot is the ground: not white, but a warm sand that shifts toward oatmeal in daylight, with the dots printed small and close in a soft black. The result is a neutral that carries a little heat, so it sits with cream tile and oak rather than fighting them the way a cold white panel would. The scale is deliberately restrained, closer to a shirting print than a nursery spot. There is no border and no variation in the spacing, so the panel behaves as a textile rather than as a graphic, which is the difference between this and a novelty spot print.

It is a warm sand rather than a strong tan, roughly the colour of unbleached cotton. Against a white bath the difference is clear; against cream tile it disappears. Order on the basis that it is a soft, warm neutral, not a brown.
Evenly, on a regular repeat with consistent spacing. It reads as a considered textile print rather than a hand-drawn scatter, which is why it works in a room that is otherwise plain.
Less well. Warm sand and cool grey each make the other look slightly dirty. If your tile is grey, a panel with a white or true grey ground will sit more comfortably.
