The Dusty Pink Shower Curtain takes its name from the sky rather than the subject: a low sun dropping into flat water, the whole scene washed in muted rose and apricot, with an elephant and a small dog sitting side by side on a bench in the shallows. A sailboat sits far out on the horizon and two birds cross the sun. Nothing in the image is high contrast, which is exactly why the pink stays dusty instead of sweet, and why it holds together under a single overhead fitting. Between the bench and the horizon the water is completely still, which is what holds the composition together.

It is a warm dusty rose with an apricot lift near the horizon, not a cool blush. In a north-facing room it reads slightly greyer and the sun becomes the warmest point in the image. Under a yellow bulb the whole panel warms up noticeably.
They are photographic silhouettes composited into a photographed sunset, so the edges are clean and dark with no drawn outline. At normal viewing distance the join is invisible. Up close you can see the elephant is lit from behind rather than lit in the scene.
The water and the bench occupy the lower third, so hanging inside a tub hides some of the reflection but nothing that carries the picture. The sun, the animals and the sailboat all sit in the upper half.
