A Vertical Fade From White Down Into Deep Violet

The Lavender Shower Curtain is a single gradient with no pattern in it: pure white along the header, softening through the palest lilac across the upper third, then deepening steadily through mid lavender into a saturated violet that reaches full strength only in the last quarter before the hem. The transition is smooth and has no visible bands, which is harder to print than it sounds and is the whole reason the panel works. Because the colour is strongest at the bottom, the eye reads the top of the curtain as light and open.

Using a Gradient to Change the Height of a Room

A gradient that runs dark at the bottom makes a low bathroom feel taller, because the pale header disappears against a white ceiling and the eye stops at the hem instead of at the rail.
