The Lightweight Clear Shower Curtain is a sheet of transparent plastic film, and this is worth stating plainly because the imported specification lists it as polyester fabric, which it is not. What arrives is a smooth, slightly glossy clear panel with no weave, no nap and almost no weight, hanging in soft vertical folds that catch the light along their edges. It is fully see-through rather than frosted, so the tiling behind it stays visible, and the only visual interest it has is the way it bends light where it creases. That absence of surface is the whole argument for it: nothing to hold a pattern, nothing to absorb water, and nothing between you and the wall behind.

A clear plastic film. There is no weave in it at all, which you can confirm by holding an edge to the light, and the care that follows from that is wiping rather than laundering.
It can. A very light panel with no weighted hem will move toward you in a warm shower, so tuck the hem inside the tub or the tray rather than leaving it hanging outside.
Clear films do gradually take on a cast with heat and light, more quickly in a bright bathroom than a dark one. Regular wiping slows it, but this is a panel to replace rather than to restore.
Yes. It is transparent rather than frosted or textured, so it offers a splash barrier and nothing more. If privacy is part of what you need, this is the wrong panel.
