Hang the modern grey shower curtain in a bathroom that has no character of its own and it supplies one: a photographic composition of brass and steel pipework running across the top of the panel, with six clear glass filament bulbs suspended from it on stems, two of them lit warm and the rest dark, all set against a mottled grey wall of weathered steel and flaking paint. The background carries most of the surface area and it is genuinely tonal, moving from near-white where the light falls to charcoal in the corners.

An Industrial Panel Against Plain White Tile

No, two of them glow warm and the rest are clear and dark, which is what stops the panel from looking like a lighting advertisement. The contrast between lit and unlit is most of the drama.
Neutral, tipping very slightly warm where the paint has flaked. It sits comfortably against both cool porcelain and a timber vanity.
A warm yellow brass rather than a rose or bronze tone, close enough to unlacquered brass hardware that matching taps look intentional. Against chrome it reads as a deliberate contrast instead of a clash.
