Ocean Beach Shower Curtain gives a bathroom a view: a single coconut palm leaning out over pale sand, turquoise water breaking behind it and a hard blue sky with a few flat clouds. The sun sits directly behind the crown of the palm, which throws the fronds into partial silhouette and puts the brightest point of the image near the top of the panel. Everything is photographic and everything is in focus, from the grain of the sand to the line of the reef. Sand fills the lower quarter and the sky rather more than half, so the water sits as a narrow band across the middle where the eye naturally rests.

It is printed level, so on a flat panel the sea line is horizontal. Gathered curtains always break a horizon into segments, which is worth knowing if you tend to leave the curtain bunched to one side.
