A single jellyfish drifts down the middle of this Ocean Watercolor Shower Curtain, its bell stippled in violet and indigo and its tentacles dissolving into loose teal brushwork near the hem. The ground stays bright white, so the pigment reads like wet paint on paper rather than a photograph. Flecks of scattered color fall away from the body and keep the eye moving toward the floor. Up close the fabric is a plain woven polyester with a low sheen, and the pigment sits flat in the weave with no raised or glossy areas. The motif is printed in the middle of the panel, so it sits centered when the curtain is pulled fully across the rod. Bunched to one side it folds into the pleats and reads as scattered color. Most bathrooms show it best drawn closed.
The print is set into the polyester rather than layered on top, so washing at 30 degrees keeps the violet and teal stable. Avoid bleach, which attacks the pigment before it touches the white ground. Warm water and a mild detergent are enough.
The fabric is a woven polyester with enough body to soften a window behind it without blocking the room entirely. You will see shadow and daylight through it, not detail. It is not a translucent film.
