Where the flowers land on the wall is decided by the cut, which is why the Red Fabric Shower Curtain is worth thinking about before ordering: six sizes run from 35 inches wide to a 71 x 94 inch drop, and the poppies are printed as a band standing up from the hem rather than scattered over the panel. On a short drop they sit at knee height; on the tallest cut the whole meadow moves down and the white above it becomes the dominant surface. Buds, seed heads and green stems fill the band between the blooms. Petal edges are drawn slightly translucent where they overlap, so the blooms read as layered rather than flat, and a few are shown from behind.

The stems run down to the hem and the grass continues to the very edge, so there is no white margin at the base. The flower heads themselves sit a little way above it.
