Do the starfish look real or illustrated?

They are photographed, so you can see the grain and the small ridges on each arm. Nothing in the design is drawn. That is what gives the panel its depth compared with a printed illustration.

Is the teal strong enough to clash with grey tile?

It is a soft chalky teal rather than a bright one, and it sits comfortably next to warm or cool grey. Against a strong blue tile it can look faded. Pale grey and white are the safest surroundings.

Will the net pattern show through when the panel is wet?

The net is printed, not applied, so wetting the fabric darkens the whole panel evenly without changing the pattern. Nothing lifts or peels. It dries back to the same appearance within an hour or two.
