The Teal Blue Shower Curtain is a photograph of a long wooden boat moored on a lagoon whose surface runs from pale aquamarine in the shallows to a saturated turquoise further out, with limestone cliffs rising behind and a canopy of green leaves arching in from the upper left. The boat itself is dark brown with a small white canopy, and its reflection breaks the water in the foreground. Light comes from behind the cliffs, which keeps the rock in shadow and lets the lagoon glow. There is no filter effect: the color is what the water actually does at that depth.

It is a real photograph of shallow tropical water, where the pale sand bed and the depth combine to produce that turquoise. Print saturation makes it slightly more vivid than the eye would see. The hue itself is accurate.
It sits in the lower left third, with open water filling the center and right. Drawn fully closed the composition is balanced. Gathered to the left the boat disappears into the folds.
It can. The panel already carries both a blue-green water tone and a leaf green canopy, so a third green in the room usually reads as a mismatch rather than a scheme. White, sand or grey tile is safer.
